i want to get some fog lights for my car but don't want to get aftermarket fog lights. i like the way oem fog lights look. does anyone know what i should check to see if my car is pre-wired for the oem fog lights? i have a 95 gxe maxima with power door lock, windows, auto. thanks!

Grope around behind the front bumper where the fog lights will be mounted. Look for a gray connector which is taped to a nearby harness and connected to nothing. The factory fog light connectors are small and gray, with two wires (orange/black and black). You should find one of these connectors on each side of the car. Plain Jane (my '99 GXE 5-speed) has no options and she has these fog light connectors. Courtesy Nissan can sell you a foglight kit which has everything you need for this installation.
