so come to find out i have a lil leak in my sunroof... i took it to a body shop, and there it was gonna cost me at least a grand, if not more to get it fixed... he gave me the number to another place, and im gonna check the phone book, but has anyone else ever had this prob? and if so, how much did it cost to fix? cuz this is gonna be a minor setback to the mods i wanted to start on...

Look in the corners of your sunroof cut out on the car. You should have drain holes there. Make sure there clear, you may even have to blast them out to get them to clear. Had this problem with a Honda I had. The roof does drip slightly into the rim, but is supposed to drain out. Don't give the body shop a dime. Clean out your drains.

This is good advice. If all else fails you can seal the sunroof permanently. It will never open again but that's less expensive than a $1K repair.

SP6040 -

Check the link in my post above. The first time I posted a response to Roman-dude I referred to another link to Tim. The answer is there. You may want to pick up a FSM.
