How do you think a Y pipe and the stock muffler on a 97 se auto would sound and perform?? Im looking into getting a Y but I dont want that much noise. Let me know what you guys think.

Adding just the Y-pipe with the cone intake added very little noise. The car did not get much louder at all, expecially after the cat (in other words, the muffler keeps the car quiet). The car did growl a bit deeper when starting the car and I get a little hiss only when I gas it moderately or rev passed 3K RPM. All around it's a great mod without increase the noise.

A week after, I installed the Courtesy B-pipe and 5th gen muffler. This added more noise than just the y-pipe. My car is still just as quiet as stock, but it sounds a bit deeper. Power gains were substantial.

i have a 95 se 5spd with a y pipe and rt cat and stock muffler and its wery quit
