A friend of mine wants to race his '92 Prelude Si against my '98 Max SE auto...

...do I have much to worry about?

Nah. Just make sure to feather your accelerator so the tranny will shift quicker.

prelude

the later ones had 195 horsepower. not sure what the 92's have. the later ones are a pretty good challenge for the stock max.

The damn stock VB won't make it shift fast enough. All your engine does is scream and shifts when it gets ready. I found if I feather it when I want it to shift will make it drop into gear faster. You could still be in 2nd gear by the time the person your racing hits fourth.
