I want to put a fstb on my '97. Does it block access to the rear bank of spark plugs?

It does, but it's easily removable. I had to take mine off to change my plugs, but it takes about 2 minutes to remove.

Block is too strong a word. Obstruct would be more accurate. You could work around it. However, temporarily removing the bar requires removing only two bolts. It's fast and easy.

Don't let this issue sway your decision.

Yeah...The sway bar next! And thanks. I picked up a Courtesy bar from fellow member last night.
