i believe joshua tree has one of the best real kits.. I'm sure people will post pics of their kits soon.. The kit I got was off ebay and its not even real carbon fiber, but I guess I can't really complain since I only spent like $70 bucks for it...

Joshua Tree

I bought a real brushed aluminum kit from joshua tree and have been thrilled with it. Arrived promptly, wasn't extremely difficult (tedius, however, since you have to bend it all and once it sticks...it sticks). It's a great upgrade...

Hope it helps,

I hear carbon fiber is pretty sweet with the beige interior. It was a toss up for me between the carbon fiber and the aluminum...i literally ended up flipping a coin! but I have a white Max with the dark gray interior so I don't know...

If you're talking best, don't even consider Alkaplus. That stuff is so fake and cheesy it's unbelievable. Joshua Tree and my shop are currently the only 2 making real aluminum dash kits on a production scale. Every other shop is synthetic (plastic). As for fit, it's a tossup because both of our kits fit very well. Right now my kits are slightly cheaper, but normally my kits sell for quite a bit more than the JT ones. Custommaxima is group dealing our kits right now if you want to check them out.

I used to have one of the Joshua Tree synthetic kits in my car before I had the real kit made. That thing was just a piece of crap. It had 1/4" gaps in a few areas. But I've heard the new ones are much, much better.

Re: to shadow jt kits

Well, all of the JT kits: wood, carbon fiber, synthetic aluminum were made by the same large supplier. So none of them fit that great, a lot of people have had fitment issues. Mine was the synthetic aluminum kit. The real aluminum JT kits are supposed to be better.
