Cut springs?
Hardly anyone because it's neither recommended or safe. Plus springs are not that expensive.

With all this hoopla about Eibachs, H&Rs, Sprints, Susp Tech etc.....Who has gone ahead and cut their stock springs? If so, how many turns and how low did u go?
Thx.

Yeah, a "lot of people" cut their springs just like a "lot of people" play Russian Rhoulette. Don't even think about cutting your springs. The car will ride like ****, and it will not react predictably in an emergency maneuver. You're better off leaving them alone, or getting new aftermarket springs and struts. Don't forget the alignment...

PS I'm on Koni struts and DO NOT recommend cutting springs on stock or Tok's.
Don't go through the trouble of cutting your stock springs...you can get the best springs ever made for the max for under $120 and if you can afford a car you can afford that. Sprints are cheap, perform very well and drop your max 2". What's the point of cutting stock coils when a better, safer version is avaliable at a cost friendly option. Don't cut stock springs...
Thx guys
Thanks for the all info guys. With your help i'm going with ground control coil overs. I believe they have eibach springs on them already. I'm just trying to decide to go with koni or the kyb agx. From what i read, if I go two inch i should not leave the stock struts.
