So i am buying my news rims thursday and i need to know what sizes of tires yall recommend, first of all i plan on getting the nitto 555s, i need to know what sizes would be best for 17x7 and for 17x8, i love low profile but do not want to bend the rims, so a slightly bigger width may be prefered, please help me, i only have 2 days to decide

Read my mods, I have some BFGoodrich tires (235/45/17) that are great, they have a thread wear of 400, and AA traction. I got 'em about $130. Also my tires fit my rim perfectly (flush), the tire doesn't bulge out, and it doesn't rub my struts. it's like the tire was meant for that specific rim(2001 SE rims). Good luck!

Dunlop SP8000 235/45/17 nice tire, big block tread, quite, very sticky rubber, good wet weather traction, read the reviews on tire rack about that tire, convinced me to buy them and I'm glad I did.

whatever you do, don't get Cooper tires hehe...the stupid dealership gave me the worst tires...I will be getting winter steelies or something anyway so by spring I won't have to deal with these POS's anyway.

If you end up w/ BF Goodrich tires, get the free G-Tech pro. I would be interested in buying it from you to help you defray some of the purchase price of the tires.

I was considering theese? How much does Tirerack charge for shipping? Because then I will need to still get them on my car anyway for probably like 10 bucks each so curious what the grand total would be. This way I know whether to get them or go somewhere for them like Sears.
