Odd... ECU did NOT throw Check Engine at me
#1
Ok everybody complains that their CEL comes on, but mine did NOT come on. Today, I drove my car to my friends house in order for him to air impact off my stuck cat nuts (I didnt buy the compressor yet). On my way home, I drove open header (its LOUD!) with both front oxygen sensors hanging and the rear one in place but obviously not workin. I was expecting the CEL to come on very soon but it never did. What is goin on here?

It takes some time for the ECU to pick out the code. I got the CEL , got home and checked it immediately but accidentally reset the ECU before getting a 2nd look at it to make sure. Yesturday I drove for the same amount of time/miles and the CEL didn't come on. Well today, it did at last. It takes some time for it to pick up right away... I remember driving my old max with the o2 sensor unplugged for 50+ miles and no light came on.
