Just got these from JC Whitney 80/100W They throw WHITE light that matches the PIAA setup perfectly. No blue hint at all on the road. Nice wide beam pattern too. Anybody looking to upgrade headlights, these bulbs are really nice!

I think it's the same bulb your talking about, it does say Korea on the base. Go to JC Whitney on line and look under automotive lighting. The bulbs are there.

I've been keeping my eyes on the harness, well hands actually. Nothing seems to be getting hot, even after long trips. Circuits are designed to handle "X" amount of amps. This all depends on wire gauge and connection types. Placing a fuse in the circuit should protect it UP TO the amount of amps it can handle. As long as it's designed correctly. (2 years of electronic school here) So as I see it, if I'm not blowing any fuses, then I'm still below the limits of the circuit. In any case I do keep my eyes on the thing, always looking to see if any wires are indeed running hot. So far, nice and cool. I've been running over wattage bulbs in all my cars. I've never had a problem. Sometimes they don't last that long, as in the case with fogs, too small an inclosure for that amount of heat causes premature bulb failure.
