Hi. Tonight as I turned on my car my Air Bag light started to flash. Came home and read how to reset it but no luck. I tried resetting it 4 times. My questions are what would cause this? Its a 98 Maxima SE. And if I go to Nissan to have them look at this will it cost me. I think I remember hearing somewhere that the air bag system is under warrenty for 10 years.

Thanks for a response.

Call your dealer

I reread the Warranty Information booklet and found no mention of a special warranty for the Supplemental Restraint System. Seatbelts are covered for the life of the vehicle. A phone call to your local friendly Nissan dealer should answer this question.
