Removing Emblems >>>>>
I used a spray from 3M "General Purpose Adhesive Cleaner part No. 08987"
Got it from a local paint store. I first soaked the emblems, then just twist and remove. It was that easy. Then a little extra spray and a rag to clean whatever glue was left.
A little wax will return the shine to your Max.
It took me about 10min to do this. And it looks great, no scratches or marks.
Good Luck.

I did mine at the powerwash. While I was cleaning the back of my Max, I just got real close to the emblem, and it popped right off! Then I used some nail polish remover to get the glue off. Waxed it and voila!

blast it directly on the emblem itself one letter at a time. You can get it hotter by covering the back of the dryer and releasing it. Then use dental floss and wd40 to remove the gunk. enjoy! =)

i agree, i want to paint mine black. but what the best way to do this? i want to remove the emblem and spary paint it for a more even look. but i think painting the emblem while its still on the trunk will be easier. but i really dont wanna see any paint brush streaks.
what do u guys think?
