My max shakes when reacking 60 mph
Just got a 1995 GXE and found that the shaking of the steering
wheel was considerable when it reached 60 mph, even more noticeable compared with my friend's 1995 Camry LE at 75 mph. I'd really appreciate it if somebody could tell me the possible causes and costs to fix them. I am a rookie in Georgia.

yeah so, if a bad accident, could be any of the frontal suspension parts...axle and some other stuff others have mentioned before. if you did a search, i remember there was recently a thread about this. i have the same problem, but not as simple as a wheel balance or bad tires, so i've read all the threads about steering wheel vibes. but do the search adn there is a list someone made of possible culprits.

Nissan vehicles seem to be sensitive to balancing based on my experience with them. I usually tell my balancing tech to use the gram scale and balance to within 5-7 grams. Takes a little more work on the tech's part to get it this accurate, but it has always worked for me when I used to get i.e., shimmy or shake at 60-75 mph. The ounce scale on most balancing machines seems to round off to a larger variance.
