Remember the park neutral switch I broke on my M/T trying to take it out to fix a leak? Well I JB welded the thing back together. As for the leak, I first went to Pep Boys and bought a larger thickness O ring. I couldnt fit the beast in so I just went ahead and put the old O ring back in. After inspectoin it looked fine with no stress points or deterioration so I just snapped it in and put it in. I then refilled the transmission, then degreased once again. its now more then 12 hours later and the transmission pan is still dry. Looks like a good sign. I really hope it stays that way. My car has not moved yet and still is on jackstands. Wish me luck.... btw, JB weld rules!

Check your backup lights. You may do this with the vehicle still up on jackstands and with the engine off. Turn the ignition on, shift into Reverse, get out and look at the backup lights.

Thanks for the suggestion Daniel, I would have forgotten, then I really woulda been not happy if after I reassemble the thing the back up lights dont work. I went outside today and tried it out, and sure enough they worked!

Its now been 24 hours and still no leak. With my luck, as soon as I start driving the car around, then it will start leaking again...
