Is there any way to get around the O2 sensor failure reading? I understand it might not affect the drivabiity but the MIL light is a pet peeve to me and I really dont want to see it.

Any other options in using an upgraded ECU for a 97?

Originally I thought it was as simple as buying a 95/96 O2 sensor and installing that in the '97. Daniel and Cheston then confirmed the wiring is slightly different (heated 02 or something)

My mechanic is gonna try re-wiring the sensor to fit properly. I'll let you know if it works.
