Need Help INstalling HIDS - Panasonic/Vision

well i got my hid's h4 from hogan....i was wondering if anyone had put theres in yet...the bulbs dont fit the plastic piece that secures the bulb onto the back of the headlamp asembly...so did u guys really cut that piece with a drill bit or do u think home depot carries somethign that will avoid teh drillin process?

Did you tell him that you had a 4th gen? It should fit right in.

yea he knows i had a 99 max

so he sent me the h4 kit

And that's the problem. The 4th gens have 9004 headlights, the 5th gens have H4s.

hey medicsonic, do you do a lot of driving at night with your HID lights? I hear the beam pattern is messed up for the HID conversion kits to 9004, and cause a lot of problems. Whats your opionion on this, and what do you do to resolve the lack of high beams?

The beam pattern is bad, but not for you, it is for other drivers. I have aimed my lights as low and to the right as possublem and will soon dissassmble the housing and coat the bottom of the reflector with something so that it will not reflect upward.

HID KITS

Check out www.hidkits.com They have kits which give you proper beam patterns. They also explain why the beam pattern gets distorted and how it's fixed.
