hey what's up everybody. wanted to know if anybody could help me out. i would like to get coilovers for my 99 max but i don't know which too get. which gives out the best performace? should i get Ground Control Coilovers? or Weapon R Coilovers? as for struts, i would like to get koni yellows but are kyb agx adjustables any good? which shocks are better? the koni's or the kyb? which would be the best coilover/strut combination? if anybody could help me out, that would be greatly appreciated.

The ground controls use Eibach springs and seem easier to operate. The KYB's no one has, people with them on other cars seem to like them quite a bit. I don't know much about the Weapon R coilovers. I know its not a lot of info, but its a start....

Cattman coilovers will probably give you the best performance but are also the most expensive.

Has anyone bought the new upgrade kit for the Cattman coilovers? They said it will make the ride quality better. I'm kinda curious if the upgrade kit is actually worth the $800.

I wish I had the money for coilovers, but oh well, I wll just get the KYBs AGXs and the H&Rs. I wish it had a lower drop, but I care mre for a better ride than looks.

I'm interested as to the ride as well. I know on the Miata application, the stock rates are 150lbs front and 100lbs rear. Most lowering springs bumped that up to about 200lbs fronts and 125lbs rears. The Weapon-R Circuit Pro in the Miata application bumped up the spring rates to 600lbs front and 400lbs rear, even higher in the in rear than the spec miata race kit which has 700lbs springs front and 325lbs rears.
