apex has a 1.6" drop. they are lower than eibachs and h&r but can not be compared to sprint or intrax that have a 2" drop which is not good for a maxima. they run about $200. call AUDIO LINKS at 201-420-6792( 11am-6pm new york time) ask for Freddie.

Are they apex springs in the maxima picture shown?
I will use these springs with my stock struts for about 6 months. Do you think the ride will be really bad?

thks.

yes the piture has the apex springs. with any lowering springs you should change the shocks as soon as possible. with the stock shocks your car will bounce. do your-self a favor don't buy tokico shocks.

the maxima front suspension is not as good as other cars. sprint springs are made in the u.s. and are cheap and you will always get that bounce that they produce. i have seen the sprint springs for as low as $119 for a set, you will never see that with eibachs or h&r or apex, it cost them more to make and to import. shocks, try to get the koni's or agx when they come out. good luck on your pick.

The gr2's are slightly stiffer then stock. I'll be doing the H&R and gr2 setup this spring. H&R's will go in this fall, and the gr2's will go in next spring. My car only has 32K on it so the stock shocks/struts are still nice and tight and should be fine with the H&R's for a while.

I'm running my apex springs on stock SE struts and the ride is actually very good. I only have around 55000 km's on the struts so they're still pretty tight. The ride is not harsh at all as I have been hearing about the Intax and Sprints. The drop is also very nice but not too low which is good if you live in areas with high curbs.
