I have most of my valve body taken out of the transmission. By this I mean that the only thing holding it in the transmission are the wires. I cannot disconnect them. How do you disconnect them? I took out the pin outside the tranny already but they still will not come loose. I need help as soon as possible. Thanks.

Just refer to the service manual that you should have handy whenever working on the car...

Dont have the service manual handy...do have Don's instructions. Does the wire harness go through the tranny? Or does it disconnect at the point where the clip is? I really need help as soon as possible.

Its ok, thanks for looking. Please, does anyone know if it seporates? There seems to be a ridge on the top part of the outer wire harness. On Don's site it looks like those wires go through to the inside of the tranny with out breaking apart. Then it also shows a pic where they disconnect. I really cant get the wires out. I truely need help as soon as possible.

Believe what you will, this is not the time for this discussion. I NEED help! And quick. If I follow the wire harness from just above the transmission I cant follow it all the way to the "brown and orange connectors" which is where I think I need to disconnect it from. Please help me.

To tell you the truth it is REALLY hard to get the harness to actually come fully off the car. I had to work with the harness hanging in midair, and I know of others that had to do the same.

I finally just cut 2 of the little zip ties and it was all good. Came apart like it was suppose to. Cant wait til' wednesday when I'll have it back, and friday when we will put it back in. Thanks Don in Texas for overnighting it and working on it so quickly for me.

Kirk

P.S. Murphy... - thanks for the info, tried that and the harness wouldnt disconnect, wouldnt go through. I dont have the stock intake so it was less work, but I REALLY appreciate your input.

Make sure you don't lose any of the bolts. If you need to, send it with the solenoids attached, we'll take care of it for you.

I finaly got them off. Thanks for the offer though. I'll send it out tomorrow so it will be to you by tuesday. Are your transmission coolers still on back order? If not, can you charge one to my and send it with the VB? Thanks.

Same with me...the supercharger piping prevented me from reaching down and I had to work in midair too...with a box to support the vb.
