Hello, one question. I see alot of you have "rewired" your foglights. What is the reason for this?

99 Maxima SE-5 spd. 9k miles. Bone stock, for now.

Lights

So you can run your fogs without your headlights. Then you can drive with just your parking lights and your fog lights on and not blind people at dusk.......plus it looks so cool!

OK Bernie, sounds good, so how is this done and with what level of Electrical Prowess would one need in doing this?

Go to my page

All you need is a screwdriver, a socket, a sense of positive and negative, a wire cutters, 2 feet of wire, and a wire butt connector.

Why?

So they may be on when the headlights are in high beam or parking light mode.

Ever use the foglights for fog? I was running across Illinois and Indiana a couple weeks back in some very nasty fog. So I was thinking, "Fog? Bah! Might be trouble in the old Caprice, but I've got *foglights* now. The intense energy from these neutron bombs will cook all the water vapor from the air!"

Actually, I'm not sure that the foglights helped at all. Now maybe if they were yellow...
