i took my car out this mornign around 8 am or so......i cmae home and left at like 1030am and when i was comming home around 12 i saw that my check engine light is on.......i havent doen anyhting to my engine so i know its nothing that i did.........so something might be going bad(hopefully nothing major) i dont have a computer to get the code so ill have to wait it out or find someone to look at it with a comp for me.......just letting u guys know.......

You can do a Diagnostic Trouble Code readout without a computer. The only tool needed is a flat-blade screwdriver. Read the Sticky ECU Diagnostic Trouble Codes. The first post in that thread points you to a Web site which provides detailed instructions.

The Check Engine Light is evidence that something is wrong. That
"something" may be any number of things, some major and some minor. It
might be nothing more than a loose fuel filler cap.

same thing happened to me...it was my o2 sensors..i brought it to nissan dealer and they fixed for free
