I know that this is not a Maxima issue, but will everyone please take a moment and pray for those that are involved in the New York situation with the World Trade Centers, Airplanes, etc. Thanks everyone.

This was a terrible attack and I hope that no one on this board had family hurt or killed in the blasts.

Oh Lord, I thank you for keeping us safe in this time of terror.
I ask that you bring those involved to justice.
Give our leaders clear minds to be able to deal with these events and give them the knowledge and the strength to make the decisions that need to be made.
Give our military the power and our allies the power to bring Bin Laden to justice.
I ask that you take the souls of everyone that has died innocently at the hand of this terrorism.
Some people on this forum may not understand my prayer but allow them see what you are about and what you are able to to with their lives as well.
I have a feeling that our family and friends are fine but please help us to get in contact those we are not able to reach at this moment.
Also help those people that have seen the horror first hand and deal with their healing of the friends, husbands, wives, and children that have been killed.
I ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Awesome sig. I agree.

Kirk

I just came in on a flight yesterday, and it could have been so easy for me to be on one of those flights. It could of been any of us working, or coming back from vacation from whatever.
Seriously though, I dont have anything to say, simply my words cant express the grief, the terror, or the simple desperation that millions are feeling around the nation.

It angers me that thousands of Palestinians were dancing on the street celebrating the attack, but I pray those cheers were out of ignorance and a total lack of understanding of what happened, not to the USA, not to the US governemnt, but to normal men and women working to support their families and to live their lives.

I dont understand how anyone can see terroism as an honorable profession, or how killing thousands of everyday people in a country so far away can really be something to be so happy about. It just blows my mind, and makes me mad, but at the same time, it makes me sad how fellow human beings can hate and be so ignorant and so wrong in their lives.

my best wishes to those who've parished today.
I live in brooklyn, which is part of nyc, and was very close to the area where the WTC blew up. My friends were just blocks from the WTC when it colapsed as they ran for cover from the smoke that made it hard to breeth. But they're safe now. It was a long day here in NYC.

It is nice to see there are other Christians in this forum and my prayers go out as well in this horrible tragedy and the uncertainty of what is to come.
