Need advise about tint from tint people
I am planning to put say 50% tint the lightest one on my rear brake lights, I have 4th gen maxima. So the question is how it should be done? so tint will be able to survive carwash, bad weather and so on, stay there for long time.
What kind of liquit we should use? All kind of advices will be appreciated.
Thanks!

if you use the regular tint film, it will probably peel off after a few washings or bad weather. A few years ago there was a company that made a tint spray for use on lenses. I don't know if it is still made, but it is dark enough to cover the colors, but not so dark that you can't see the lights when they are on. Let me know what you decide, and i will se if i can find out about the spray.

thanks metallic97, i thought they still made it but i have not seen it for awhile. Anyway, this is a much better bet than using the tint film, b/c it does not wear off with washings or bad weather. Plus it is cheap enough that it can be reapplied if it needs to be. When you do it, prep the tail lights just as if you were spray painting them. The spray tint is essentially the saem thing. Good luck, and if you can pls post pics when you do it.

What are chances that spray will be even at all surfaces? the reason i am doing it, is to cover up small 1 inch crack on my lenses which happened during red/clear mod. So I am thinking abt tint as way to hide those small cracks which are in corners. Also tint would be a way to protect lenses from water getting inside.
