Can someone tell me why an engine loses low end torque or power when you replace your stock air box with a POP-Charger?

I have a pop-charger. I don't know why, but I couldn't feel any low-end loss. It's very minimal. (In my opinion)

Its only in autos right? 5spd don't lose anything. I'm getting ready to get a JWT popcharger in the next month or so.

I honestly can say that MY Pop-Charger gives more low-end HP and little on the top-end. I too always heard that you lose some on the low-end, but I feel it more in my car and then when I got my exhaust I feel some more on the top-end.
