Camaro vs. Me - I win

I was driving home from school at about 8:00 PM on a two lane road, and I see this Camaro up ahead and notice he's speeding a little, so I catch up to him and pull up beside him. I look at him with a little smirk, and we approach a red light. He speeds up real quick and gets in front of me so I switch to the other lane. He has dual exhaust, and a "High Performance" sticker on each side. It was like a 95 96 camaro. He took off all his emblems, and I didn't pay close enough attention to his exhuast tone, so I thought it might be a Z28 (who else puts a high performance sticker on their car, a V6?). So I'm thinkin I'm gonna get killed, but who cares it's just for fun. I pull up beside him and I look at him again, and I smile, then the light turns green...I pull out in front by a couple feet right from the start, and gradually gained on him, and victory was mine. I love winning

Maybe it's a V6. Even the older V8 Camaros are fast, right? I don't know, correct me if I'm wrong people.

yup...

Oh, yeah I'm sure it was a V6, otherwise he would have killed me. I'm a stock auto though, so I was surprised I won.

Actually, if it was a V6, you shouldn't be too surprise that you won. The V6 Camaros and Mustangs are good match for an auto Maxima. A 5spd Maxima should able to beat them easily, whether they are 5spd or not.

please

there is absolutely no way you even come close to beating a Z28 camaro in good running condition with a competent driver without extreme modifications to your maxima.
