Cluncky suspension after Intrax install?

I installed Intrax springs last weekend in place of my Suspension Techniques springs. The drop in the front was an extra .5" (2.5 finger gap) and the rear went down nearly .75"(not quite a 2 finger gap). The only problem is the front right strut and rear struts are clunky over certain rough surfaces. It sounds like faint metal to metal contact. It only really happens on very small bumps. On the big bumps, the car is very tight. I've taken the struts out, front and back, checked over EVERYTHING and made sure the seats and lower coil isolaters were in good condition. Everything looks completely fine. The sound goes in rythem with bumps. It sounds almost like the exhaust hitting the body, but it's not because it's not a very loud sound. I've checked the exhaust, shook it, and checked all clearance. I didn't have these noises with the ST springs. I can't figure out what's going on. Are the Intrax springs (nearly a 2" drop) just too much for the suspension. Does it cause some binding?

Have you made sure that the strut mounting bolts are torqued down properly? Make sure to check the ones that you can access under the hood. The strut tower bolts should be torqued to 32lb/ft, and the center strut cap nut should be torqued to 55-60lb/ft.

i installed my sprints a week ago.....and few day after the install i had the same problem.....HERE IS YOUR PROBLEM:

1.)pop the hood, the center not...the one on top of the strut is loose....you need to tighten that down to spec....if it keeps on happening try a dab of lock tight....problem solved....

My Intrax/Tokicos do the exact same thing. I am going to check the big nut at the top of the struts, but I have also been advised that the bump stops should have been shaved down a bit. I don't know if that is true, but I do know that I will have to completely dis-assemble the strut/spring set up to get to the bump stop. I'm trying the former first.
