Why do people not dream big? If you're gonna drop an engine in there, why not just drop in a jet turbine in there?

Whatever...the new Maxima...that is VERY different from the 2000-2001...engine...lights...stereo/entertainment...wheels...underbody spoilers...suspension...transmission...should I keep going?

Yep, I agree...I think its a 6th gen, and next year they are going to change it again and it will be a 7th gen...

The VQ30DE fits even better, as if it was made for the purpose. People "in the know" say it is a bolt-in.

I say 5th gen VQ30DE, it uses same engine mounts, while you're at it get PR's Urethane engine mounts, SC kit, and blow it up..

if u wanna swap motors buy a honda , if u want to go fast buy a camaro if u wanna do both buy a bimmer thats where im heading. Front wheel drive is just not the most performance oriented setup

i have the real answer for you.. the new 255hp 3.5 liter.. the vg30de is a stupid choice the vq is based off the vg except lighter.. why put a clunky pos in your car... unless of course your putting in a vg30dett then im for it.... so long as you arnt attatched to your trany. but yeah the 3.5 would serve for a nice platform
