Heavy-Duty Half-Shafts...?

I blew out my passenger-side CV joint. When the axle is replaced, I'm also going to add other mods: Cattman/Quaife ATB Differential, engine mounts, JWT Stage II Clutch, Stillen Flywheel(?), and a NOS 70-HP dry shot with all the trimmings. Can anyone recommend a reliable source for heavy-duty half-shafts? If ever there was a good time to consider stronger half-shafts, now is the time. (Of course, if I decide to put in heavy-duty half-shafts, I'll have them installed on both sides!)

Please advise. Thank you.

This question has come up before. The concensus was that HD axles are not available as an off-the-shelf item. Perhaps you can find a shop which specializes in axles and have them make a set for you. Be prepared to pay a high price.

Don in Texas (of Valve Body Mod reknown) mentioned prototypes of HD axles in http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....hlight=axle%2A . Contact him for further information.
