PR CAI, problem

Thanks to Shirtboy, I got to install my PR CAI today
yes.. it was VERY HELLA PAINFUL
I couldn't have done it without him.
now.
When I turn on the engine, (not turning on the whole thing,)
you know, 1 before ignition.
I have a 1998 GLE maxima, and Service engine soon comes out
I dont remmeber if this did this before but it turned on.
and after I turn on the ignition, everything is fine.
still something wrong or what?

Sexima,
You are welcome. The problem that you are talking here is normal, since you have not start the engine yet, all the indicators will stay on until you start the engine though. Don't worry about it, it is OK. Hope that you enjoy it.

One other thing you might notice, you might hear a slight whistling sound when you give it a little bit of gas. That's normal too. You can usually only hear it when you're moving at a constant speed and if the window is down.
