"...the car is currently the most modified Maxima known."

Think that's true?

I also wonder how much investigation went into that?

Not a lot obviously. It's pretty hard to "overlook" a Maxima community with 7K members with an overactive forum.

It only does a 14.5 in the 1/4 with a supercharger?!?! Either it must be an auto (even though they should run faster than that) or it is really heavy due to the stereo mods.

All the stereo stuff is slowing it down. Subs can be up to thirty pounds each not to mention the boxes they are housed in beeing about another 50. Plus with all the video also he is probably packing an extra 1000 pounds or so. And I imagine since it is a JBL project car the subs and crap are all high quality with only that in mind.

the reason it would run the 1/4 slow is cause of all the ****ing jbl **** in the back.

$70K isn't that much when you consider he's using inflated retail prices and didn't really pay for anything. If I used full retail prices for stuff on my car, it works out to something like a $55K car, but obviously I paid nowhere near that much.

As for the most modified Maxima known, it's just advertising. Hell, I have twice the bodywork of that car.

It is Craig Lieberman's wifes' car, but obviously he got all the sponsors and parts for it. I talked to him a few weeks ago, he's a pretty nice guy.

I saw that Max in MaxSpeed when it was still white. It's an auto GXE.

Are those TSW Trophies?

"the most modded max around"?? yeah ok! wtf is with JBL, of all brands they go with a flea market setup!! he should have atleast went JL subs and Alpine amps and a Kenwood 910dvd headunit or something... geez! that install isint even that good looking, its too boxy and plain. They should have used some fiberglass and painted it to match the body, that would have been hott!! That system did not cost no 20g, i have done systems that cost 10g and have more $hit than that. Big deal 3tv's, like i havent seen that before or 3subs with an amp per sub. There was nothing really custom about it except for some woodworking in the trunk. The only thing i see to me that stands out is the suicide hood,SC and side mirrors, other than that its like every other max out there!!

Now compared to Shadows, its a box! Id take Shadows max anyday over that thing.

madd props to Shadow, wherever he is!!

I really dont like it personally, but its my choice i suppose. I feel that if he made it so damn heavy he shouldnt have bothered with the SC... i mean even with it its slow

i think he meant inside the eclipse right? when he would shift it would make like a "clinking" noise. it kinda sounded like metal to metal but i dont know. i noticed the shifter was metal, but sound effects could be the answer like in movies when cops are in the dirt and they peel out making the sqeaking noise when everybody knows you cant do that in dirt lol.
