Intakes???

i'm new 2 all these mods so much respect to all that have been doing this for awhile. i'm looking for an intake. not CAI. there's the jwt pop charger which can be upgraded with a k&n filter. the k&n drop to replace the OEM box, stillen, etc... i know intakes slow u off the line and kick in at high end rpm's but which one is the one for me??? thanx.

Either go for jwt or stillen. JWT is about $60-$70 cheaper than stillen and they both serve the same purpose. I was going to buy the JWT until I went to a local performance store that had the stillen intake in stock and was selling it for $185. I didn't want to wait for the JWT to be shipped, so I paid a little more for the stillen intake. An 1/2 hour later, I had big grin on my face. I would highly recommend either JWT or Stillen.

If you were to pay $50 for the oem K&N replacement you might as well dish out another $70 and get the JWT.

I was contemplating on getting an intake for my car bc I was afraid I would lose the quiet smooth ride. The intake only kicks in around 3k rpms, so under normal driving you wouldnt even notice that it's even there...

Yeah, go for the JWT. I was asking the same question couple weeks ago in this forum and I bought the JWT. real nice and much cheaper than stillen even though the filter is not a guininue K&N.

Actually, depend on you. If you really want a pop charger with K&N, you might go for the stillen one since it looks better (you know, with a stillen logo on it). Like me, a student with no money, I got a JWT, the filter itself isn't too much of a different and cost only around $100. I can change to the real K&N later. Performance, sound? should be the same.

K&N is just a brand name. I am very satified with the filter JWT send with it. I even use the K&N filter cleaning kit to clean it. Do not waste you money for a name. My $.02
