Dancing Taillight bulb??

First Id like to say hi to everyone on the board, Im new to this forum but Im sure I love my Maxima and Maximas in general just as much as the rest of you. I have a bizarre question for anyone who might know:
I go to Hofstra University and last week I was behind a white 98 or 99 Maxima SE that had taillights Id love to get. I have a black 98 Maxima SE. The one I saw had the stock taillight assemblys both on the trunk and on the body. The thing I liked was that he had some kind of bulb installed in the red brake lights that danced around with this cool design. When he pressed the brake, the lights got brighter and the design danced around faster. Does ANYONE have any clue as to how to get this effect? Is it a bulb or is it a custom job? Im sure prob. no one has seen this, but if you have please post anything you know about it. Thanks in Advance...

LED replacements

I have seen those quite a few times, they are a replacement bulb that is made up of many samll LEDS.. Just like the new Maseratti 3500GT has from the factory.

I know that the ones that dance are illegal, but they should be making them for all repacable socekets..1157 etc.

LEDS are safer then normal filiment bulbs...They dont burn out, they are brighter, dont "spark" in an accident so their is less fire damage, and they like up faster then a filament bulb( this is ver relitive we are talking 1/1000's of seconds...
