215/50/17 on 17x7

Does anyone run the 215/50/17 on 17x7 combo? It has the best comparison ration with respect to the stock tires. Also, it's the recommended size by Impul. Opinions or observations?

Search is amazing. As a matter of fact, you asked this same question back in April.

yes, but others have commented in the other posts since then.

The consensus: 235/45/17 is recommended by manufacturers (7 to 8.5" on 235 widths)

That was the whole point of my question. I read conflicting posts where 235/45/17 was not recommended for 7" width. From the MaxFaq and Impul (who I know to be an excellent aftermarket/racing company), 215/501/17 was listed for 17x7, so I just wanted to know if anyone had tried that combo. I'll probably end up with 17x8, 235/45/17, so thanks anyhoo.
