black panels on outside of door fading! anyone else?

black panels on outside of door fading! anyone else?

These side panels are fading in blotchy patches and it looks like ***. Anyone else have this problem, if so how did u remedy it?

(ps this isnt my car but i dont have a pic of it yet)

Tape it off and spray it with flat black, and yes I had the same problem

Either remove them, or paint them, or cover them with vinyl. I sell carbon fiber look vinyl which a lot of people have bought and used to cover the plastic. That's what I did until I got my car repainted, and told them to remove the molding. It's just held on by tape, underneath it's just paint. Some people like it to be body colored, some people like it black.
