This is not goodbye ....

Folks:

Wanted to thank you all very much for all the help, support and useful info that I have received at this site. I got a good deal on a 2001 Prelude so I am trading in my Maxima tonight (I was in the market for a Prelude even before I bought the Maxima).

I will continue to frequent this website because the I really enjoyed owning the Maxima and in future if my needs change, I would buy one in a heart-beat!

FYI.

Thanks again.

Preludes are cool. 200 hp from a 4 banger, it's right up there with the S2000 and NSX in terms of HP per liter. Impressive. Real cool looking, too. if I meet you on the highway, we can race

Now you'll blend in like the rest of the 10 billion honda boys. At least your Max stood out. Oh well, still a nice car, have fun!

I live just south of you in Seattle. Here there are TONS more 4-gens than Preludes. Hondas maybe but not Preludes.

Let's be more specific about these Hondas. The ricey Hondas tend to be very much the civics, integras and accords. The Preludes are not in that category at all, in my book.

Re: Here's a pic of the Prelude

Hey congrats on the '01 Prelude. Looks awesome. Out of curiosity, how much did they give you for trade and what was the deal on the Prelude? Also, did you return the Max to stock as much as possible or did you just leave them on?

I have been somewhat of a closet Prelude fan, especially the current generation which to me has a more classic look than many of it's flashier brethren. If I weren't so utilitarian, I wouldn't mind one myself. I read somewhere that prelude sales were waning... too bad.
