2 more kills.....(very long)

well yesterday i was coming home from the mall and i see two of the most fuggly cars ever. 1st i pull up right next a dodge neon with rims, body kit, 10ft wing, and at least exhaust (it was loud as shlt) and i look over and what do i see...well one fine a$$ girl andone dorky a$$ dude driving, so what do me and my buddy do? LAUGH, i look at him then look up at the stoplight and he nods at me and i'm thinking "man i don't want to lose to a friggin' neon." bam, i get a good launch and i'm past a half car ahead through 2nd then by 3rd i had to be at least2 or 3 cars ahead of him i stopped at about 95 or so cuz the road was starting to get curvy and what does he do? RICER FLYBY, so of course i laughed again. btw, i know i might get flamed for this but has anyone ever even seen a "fast" neon? it was the first modded one i 've seen around here.
ok 2nd, i'm going down i-70 mindin' my own business passin' cars like normal when i find myself pacing a friggin' ford focus with at least exhaust, rims, and ground effects. i will admit that i liked the blue color of the car but a friggin' focus? lame... this one was NO CONTEST. i pull up next to him and he floors it, so i drop down to 3rd and mash the pedal and next thing i know i'm like 4 or 5 cars ahead of him by the time i shift to 4th. i'm sure there might be some quick ones out there but man this one was slowwwwww.it was like his car couldn't keep up with his loud exhaust...
oh well thanks for ready post, sorry that its sooo long....

there are quite a handfull of focus's and neons that no one on this board could touch with their maxima's. neons are very light cars and easy to mod, like a civic. where as focus's, i dont know too much about, but ive seen some fly with my own 2 eyes. good kills!

I've seen some pretty fast neons at the track. They're always really loud as hell. I know that the new focus svt is supposed to be pretty darn quit.

Some, 5% maybe, are fast. Nice kills, but dont expect too much from them. I have yet to be beat by either kind of car.

not bad!, well i agree that the majority of neons and focus's are slow the only stock powered Neon that is decent is the ones with the 150hp 2.0 DOHC and a 5spd, 7.9 0-60s there

It's a shame the Focus RS won't be available in the U.S. market.

beware...

Focuses can be fast as hell. There is a lot of aftermarket stuff for them. Like superchargers, besides, the car is light and pretty quick to start with, (talking about the hatchback, XZ3 or whatever it's called).

good kills though. I don't race but when my buddy has his Mustang we used to spank Civics and Ecclipses with dudes driving and pretty girls next to them. Made them feel like crap
