I live in Ma also and I got some RL fluid. You do want to use the MT-90 but the fluid is not easy to come by. I went to their site and they had one place in Ma. Luckily it is in Waltham about 20 minutes from where I work. You should check their site but if none near you you might be better off getting it online from them.

I have not installed it yet. On my list of things to do this weekend hopefully. Do you have a 5speed or an Auto? It is supposed to make a nice difference though. I will keep ya posted.

Yes MTL-90 is excellent and is definitely worthwhile if you live in places with cold winters, or have an STS or cut-down stick.

mitch33x, thanks for the tip on Performance Products and your dealer number. $37.22 for 5 quarts and shipping, best price I could find. Again, thanks for the info. I know what I will be doing this weekend and it's supposed to get COLD!

That's a pretty good price. There is a shop in Hanover(South Shore, MA) called Redline Performance where I got mine. Paid $48 for the 5 quarts.

Indeed a great price. I did some looking around and mid $40 range for 5 qts was fairly standard, so when I saw the price at $7/quart it looked good, then your dealer number got an additional 10% off. Again thanks, and yes, it about to turn colder this weekend (I'm in Maine), so I'm looking forward to being able to downshift into first for a change.

Regards and again, mitch33x, thanks for the tip.

Where did you see this? The owner's manual calls for 90 above 104 deg and I don't want to change for summer. MT-90 is 75w90.

MT-90 is also what I was told to use by the people at the Redline Tranny Fluid company. It is the recomended blend for our cars.

Put my MT-90 in this weekend. Very easy job. Have your drain pan under the fill plug when you remove it. I used a piece of garden hose and funnel to refill. Shifting is easier, and quicker. I can now shift into first much easier coming up to a stop. Will be great this winter compared to last.

Like what? I'm not a racer, but I went out to lunch, cold and rainny today, slow around town into a turn in 2nd about 25 mph, clutch, blip, into 1st, power out of the turn, slight understear wheel spin. Never been able to shift to 1st going that fast. Kinda fun in the rain, it's easier to the balance.

Just some friendly advice, not getting preachy: You may want to reconsider your 1st-gear shifting. It puts HUGE amounts of stress on your transmission and clutch when you do it, and if you don't race, you're really not going to see a benefit equal to the amount of wear you inflict. I don't give you this info from experience, however. It's what my dad taught me, and he used to race at Watkins Glen in an amateur league.

Redline vs. Mobile 1 Synthetic ATF

Which is better? I've heard a lot of good thing about both ATF's.
