Mesh grill?
Does anyone know if anyone sells a grill for a '95 max that uses the same stuff grillcraft uses on its grilles? I want that mesh stuff not the chrome stuff uses on the billet grills that trenz or godfathercustoms.com uses. Or if anyone has made it for themselves, how did u install it and whatever.

There are a few bolts, I think 4, and two clips that are underneath the grill. You have to remove the grill, 95-96 is four bolts, 97-99 are clips-ins. Then there are three bolts on each side connecting the bumper cover to the fender, and you don't have to take the fender-well completely apart. The only side you have to do is the passenger side, and then you only have to be able to pull the fender-well out far enough so you can reach the top and middle bolts on the passenger side. That is due to the non-existant clearance from the windshield washer container. The driver side is clear, and you don't have to remove the fender well. Then, along the bottom in the front where the splash gaurd connects to the bumper cover. Thats it!
How did you attach the wire mesh to the bumper? Did you have to drill any holes in the bumper and where is the best place to drill them? Also, how long did it take you to do just the bottom part?
Thanks,
Nathan

Slickismax used fiberglass. I have used a hot glue stick. Or a very stong adhesive that will resist roads and everyday driving. It took me about 2 hours,on the bottom valance. Then when I added the other piece in the grill it did not take long go to to my page on page 4 and see. I cut 2 pieces and left a little notch out for my hood release latch, very aggrevating but worth it though. You have to cut it just right so you can't see any stopping points I used 4 pieces in all and you cannot tell each piece. Be patient and it will work.
