i changed my studs, but they seem to short.
the stud went in, as deep as it can go. and when i tried putting my aftermarket wheels on today, the studs i replaced didnt grab my lug too good. in fact my lugs only screwed on half way. whats up with this? i got the studs from nissan. can it be that they gave me shorter studs than what i actually needed?

hmm...well i went to the dealer and asked for studs for the front of a 95 maxima..and the dude just gave me a set of lug nuts 1st. then i told him i need STUDS not lug nuts. so he came back with some studs. now that you say that maybe he gave me the wrong ones...not even knowing what he got. thanks for the info

How did you change the studs? Was it hard?
And why did you change them?
One of my lugs seems to be stuck and I think I might have to change the stud, but I thought it was something that couldn't be done on your own.

did the lugs only screw on half way to the new stud(s) or all of them? when i got my new wheels put on i had to go buy LONGER lugs because the stud hit the back of the lug before it could get tightened to the wheel. the stud needed more room to go in. maybe thats the problem?
