Changing brake pads
If you have a socket set and a brain you should be good to go. You only have to loosen two bolts(I think) on the caliper and the pads just come right off. I think it took me longer to take my wheel off than it did to change the pads.
2 bolts for the caliper 2 more bolts for the caliper bracket.
if it was that fast for you..did u even bleed the brakes? lube the sliding pins?
brakes are not something to do quick. but i guess to each his/her own.

All you need are the pads, some never-sieze or compatible lube for the pad slides and a socket wrench to remove the caliper. When compressing the caliper piston, open the bleeder so the fluid spits out and doesnt go back into the brake lines. Its really an easy job, and when you pull the wheel off, you will see what I mean.
