It has holes. Don't do it. You will have to replace it with non-bulky trim (if that is your aim), to cover up the holes.

I took mines off guy. I also shaved off my door handles (ALL FOUR), I shaved my antenna off, I took out my trunk key hole, and took out my lights in my trunk and replaced them with custom lights. My whole car is painted over in BMW titanium silver with blue pearl in the clear. My paint job is unique for a Maxima. The meet on the 27th will be my first meet. I hope to show my car off there and get a chance to see the other Maxima's here I read so much about. You will find my by looking for the N.Y. license plate DOWN LOW. Only on the back though, no plate on front (it takes away from the molded in stillen kit if you ask me). But to take off the side strips there are holes and you would need a professional body shop to fill and paint over the wh9ole side of the car to match the paint (not just paint the section you took the moldings from). hope this has been helpful.

Take it to a body shop, there are holes. Basicaly, they have to remove the trim, fill the holes, and repaint all your doors so it all matches. Like an $7-800 job. I just had mine done since my whole car was being repainted anyways along with the trunk keyhole. Don't do it yourself.

I have pics but haven't been able to locate a scanner to post them. That is why I don't even have a pic in my signature. But as soon as I can I will post pics. But take it from me it is an awesome look. But if you do it take off the side moldings also.
