don't go for the weapon-r coilovers. i heard bad things about them. look into ground-control coilovers. they are a little more expensive. $400.00 + $24.00 shipping. you can get them straight from the company www.ground-control.com they are a hell of alot better than weapon-r, definelty worth it. i just got my coilovers the other day and can't wait to put them on. Hope this helps you out. Good luck.

Because they are bad. It's like Kmart brand. It's not so much that the ride is bad, the quality of the product is bad. Anybody can make a decent riding setup, it's the quality you've got to worry about.

Plain and simple, Weapon-R coilovers are NO good! I had them, and they are just no good. Really noisy, makes a "thump" noise everytime the car hops, like going over dips on the freeway, and no, its not from bottoming out. They designed the spring rate WAY to stiff in the front and the rears are as soft as the stock springs. Even with my Koni struts in front, set to the fullest, it still wasnt able to control the bumps. My friend has Ground Control on his '00 accord, with 500lbs/in in front and 375lbs/in in rear and with his blown shocks, isnt nearly as bumpy as my car when I had the Weapon-R's.

Why did you stop in mid-sentence?
anyways, it's a well known fact that Weapon*R sucks. Don't put those on there man, you will be very very sorry. Stick with the Sprints or buy some GCs. Id rather put paper mache' springs on my car than Weapon*R coilovers.

yeah you can but get new aftermarket struts/shocks. it will compliment the coilovers alot better with aftermarket one's.
