Got my first max today (95 GLE)

Bought it for $9500 w/ 58K miles and had the nicest ride into work I've ever had The car is clean and runs great...just need to replace the hood strong arms and then take care of the 60K maintenance.

Probably not gonna do any mods as I have better/more important uses for the cash, but do want to do whatever I need to maintain this car and get every ounce of life I can out of it...basically give it the DBM treatment (Daniel B. martin )

I'm so glad I found this site...I'm learning a lot and just wanted to thank everyone for their informative posts and indirectly making me feel very happy w/ my purchase.

It's a great car isn't it ? Well, be CAREFUL about this site. Seriously. When I first came here I was lookin' to do some minor mods, now I am in debt with the Mod disease.

Thanks alot, MAXIMA.ORG !!!

Go to "4th Gen Maxima Maintenance Items" at the top of the forum and find out how to get the hood supports. Welcome to the Maxima family!

yeah..I'd really like to have at least some clear corners/tails and new rims(got the funky honeycomb action right now ), but I honestly don't have the financial freedom to justify it..

gonna try and get the strong arms from napa...should be easy since this site gives me all the info I need for part no's/installation etc..

P.S. hey max808 - I'll watch for you..I live in Aiea

Welcome to the club bruh You came to the right place for information and advise. Hope your stay is comfortable and lengthy. I'll have to agree with j-95G - you'll be modding soon. I've only had my car for about 4 months and if I werent selling it I'd have a more done to it. Good luck, and have fun

where do you live? jus curious.. and i do make these for people. i usually sell them for like 20 bucks.. all you got to do is cut the mesh then run wire thru a hole and to the back and wrap it around something

this is funny...I'm already thinking about that grill mod too...hmm.. maybe i should runaway now while I still can

actually I'm really considering the light mods-the org has really illuminated the ugliness of the gold corners for me..I'd love new rims or even stock from the later 4th gens..

Did I tell you how much my new max rox? Its great..and get this-I went through all the papers the previous (first)owner had and she religiously changed the oil every 3,000 at Jiffy lube at least since the car had about 5K on it! Man they made some money off her-good for me though.

If I can, maybe I'll take some pics--seems like the member medsonic likes to host pics for people so maybe I'll throw some on his server

..nah..I'll get my own..
