Please Help - Check Engine light

Hi. First, thanks for any help you can give. I installed a Stillen Y-Pipe, Rt Cat, Greddy catback yesterday. Yesterday everything went great, everything works. Same as all day today. About 9:30 tonight I was cruising at 65mph (actual cruise control). Everything seemed fine. I disengaged the cruise with the cancel button and the check engine light came on. Does anyone have a clue why or what I should do to fix it?

Thanks again,
Erik

My check engine light appeared several days ago after having my fuel filter replaced. I did a diagnostic test on my ECU using the instructions from the sticky Trouble Codes for ECU and found the problem but don't know what the DTC 1004 stands for.

Your check engine light could be related to an o2 sensor on your y-pipe - just a guess.

Re: Please Help - Check Engine light

Have you ever had the recall work done on it?
My check engine light came on, I took it to the NIssan Dealership, and found out that my car had NEVER had the recall work done on it. THey changed a bunch of sensors (O2) and other things, for free and now it is perfectly fine--no problems since!
