I have a 96 MAX GLE and I want to put a catback exhaust on it. What brand/model do u think is the best? Will it be legal in my state, Virginia? Also, I will soon have an Apex Dunk Muffler for sale, anyone interested leave a message. Thanks.

I think only APEXi and GReddy are the only

street legal cat back systems available... they run about $450-$600 street price.

My GReddy registered 88dB(A) @ 4875rpm with stock Y section and cat... certified by GReddy's Sound Level Test 2 years ago.

First, if you live in virginia then you will get f'd no matter what you put on your car. Greddy, stillen, apex, pacesetter, and hks make them. The stillen is supposedly loud, the greddy sorta loud, and the apex pretty quiet, but hard to get. It is also the cheapest, group deal at groupbuycenter.com for like 375. Why do you want to buy a catback if you have a muff already? Just get a courtesy bpipe and you have a catback.
