clear corners question

i'm thinking about buying clear corner lights. does it make much of a difference who i get them from? they're selling on eBay for around $30 with bulbs, but i'm willing to spend more if i need to for higher quality lights. and does it matter if i don't clear the back light? the backs will be much more expensive, like around $200.

There are two clear corner lights available for the 4th generation Maxima.

You could go with the "regular" clear corners, or the diamond-cut ones. The diamond cut ones are clearer. You can get them from Custom Maxima, or maybe you could find a set on eBay.

I have the regular ones and I think they are fine. I paid $54 from Phuong at GR Racing. His customer service is A+, but you could probably get them cheaper on eBay.

As for the rear lights, I paid the $200 from CustomMaxima, but that is because I didn't want to risk breaking my lights doing it myself. There are How-2's All Over on how to clear it yourself. Use the search to find them.

I bought my clear corners a while back for $35 on e-Bay. I love them. I tried doing my back lights myself and broke the corner off of one of the lenses. Otherwise they look great. I think your could probably do the backs if you are REALLY careful and patient, which I obviously wasn't.

Clear them yourself

It is real easy to clear them yourself if you want to save $200 dollars. The hardest part is cutting the replacement lenses.........

The first one I did took a little while because I had to figure out how to cut the lens. Once I figured it out the next one flew.

Most of the how to's I have seen do not tell you the best way to cut the lenses.
