Need Newer Bose Head Unit....Help

My 97 SE with the Bose head unit is developing some problems with playing CDs. I'd like to replace it with one that plays MP3's and I can do without the cassette. Here's my problem, I'd like to keep it as stock as possible ie, fit the exact hole in my console. Any suggestions? Thanks

get an aftermarket cd player and buy the din pocket from me, will make everything look close to stock, also can purchase a double din but that's up to you and what you like. My din pocket is 15$ shipped to lower 48 states. PM if you decide to buy it.

Look on E-Bay. You can find a stock double din Bose CD only w/ mp3 capable. Plug and play. I got mine new from a newer Pathfinder. Slight modification to bracket, EASY.
