What Carbon Fiber Hood should I get??

I want an OEM carbon fiber hood. Who sells the best quality for our car? I got an estimate for some damage done (bolt flew off of some work truck on the highway and their insurance is paying for it), and it ended up being about $500. That arctic pearl stuff is expensive! Anyway, now i want a carbon hood. Any suggestions?

hood

well from my experience of carbon fiber hoods i cant tell you whats the best company to go with but one thing that i know for sure is that you need to ensure that all the edges are rolled on the carbon fiber hood and not cut. it helps to eliminate chipping and splitting, also i would invest in a car cover to reduce fading. oh i almost forgot you might want to look into getting a pair of hood pins as well, dont forget they come flush mount too.

A good company to get a carbon fiber hood from is VIS (1st choice), then CarbonFX.

I had always heard good things about there hoods untill recently, granted this wasnt on a max but I was reading on a Honda site and some were complaining about the VIS clear coat fading and hoods turning green rather quickly.
For the money, Id say go with the Carbon EFX hoods. Ive seen some in person and they have been some really nice hoods.
