Swaping ecu

Swaping ecu

Is swaping a manual ecu in an auto something easy to do is the question?I just got the ecu in the mail today.Can i just unplug all the wires from the auto and plus them all in the same place in stick one?
As you can see from my other thread i just posted haven some weird crap goin on with the car...so any help with this would be great...i would love to be able to do this my self this way i dont have to go to a shop to do it.

Yes, just unbolt the harness, swap out the actual unit, and bolt the harness back up.
