I just got my car back from the paint shop....(2 toned it, I have pics up later when I get the girls cam) and I notice when its in park or Im at a light..my idle drops below 500 n jumps back up to close to 1000, then it'll jump back down like its about to die on me.....Im confused.....someone told me that it my be my idle sensor......n someone else believes its the fuel filter because it hasnt been changed n so long and he believes its not gettin enough gas........Any suggestions?? Thanks

 

Clean the IACV and TB and replace the fuel filter with a 300zx one

should be good after that

 

I wonder what part did these bastards at the paint shop could steal from you and put a defective one instead. It happens to some customers that leave their car at the shop.

thats clever, so yeah the ECU is trying to tell ya something, you should find out what that is...

 

Yeah it sure was.....but i took it 2 my mechanic n he fixed it so its a wrap......Thanks guys
